The main campus was relocated from MSSU to the Memorial Education Center on 810 S. Wall Ave, Joplin, MO, June of 2019. This building has been a staple of the Joplin community since 1918 when it opened as the Joplin High School, which in 1927 became known as Joplin Senior High School. In the years since is has been a high school, junior college, junior high, administration building for the Joplin School District, and most recently Franklin Technology Center Adult Education main campus. This location currently houses Franklin Technology Center's main office, Practical Nursing program, CNA program and Phlebotomy Technician program.

The recently completed 85,000 square foot Health Sciences Building provides a state-of-the-art training facility for healthcare professionals and was funded from the Lewis & Clark Discovery Initiative. The Health Science Building allows for invaluable interdisciplinary education among the allied health programs. The Franklin Technology Center's Respiratory Care and Dental Assistant programs are both taught at this location.

Franklin Technology Center is rich with tradition, offering secondary training in vocational education in Joplin beginning in 1937. Franklin Technology Center has had several locations and additional buildings added to the main structure to accommodate the new programs which they were able to offer. On May 22, 2011, the FTC building along with the Joplin High School was completely destroyed by an EF-5 tornado. FTC moved to a temporary building until the new FTC was completed in 2014 at the current address on Indiana. This location is home to Automotive Technology, HVAC, and Welding programs.
